Pruritus severity as measured by NRS

Pruritus Numerical Rating Scale (NRS)

The Pruritus NRS is a patient-reported measure that assesses the average itch intensity over a 24-hour period using a 0-to-10-point scale. A variation of this scale measures maximum itch intensity and is referred to as peak pruritis NRS (PP-NRS). Patients are asked to assign a number reflecting their itch intensity on a numerical rating scale like the one below. The Pruritis NRS takes about 1 minute to complete.7,11

“On a scale of 0 to 10, how would you rate your itch overall (on average) during the previous 24 hours?”

Scale ranging from 0 to 10 showing how itch is rated on the Pruritus NRS. Aero indicates no itch, and 10 indicates the worst itch imaginable.
A reduction in itch as defined by at least a 4-point improvement in the peak pruritus NRS from baseline to Week 16.1
